Ready for Year 7: Get Maths Confident is a small-group course for children moving into Year 7 this September. Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, but it can also feel overwhelming. This course has been designed to help students make the transition with confidence by strengthening their mathematical thinking, improving problem-solving skills and developing the independent learning habits needed for success. Led by a qualified teacher and former Head of Maths, each session is practical, engaging and supportive. Students will work in a small group of no more than six, ensuring everyone receives individual guidance and encouragement. Over four one-hour sessions, students will: • Build confidence with key Year 7 maths skills • Learn effective problem-solving strategies • Develop good mathematical habits and resilience • Improve organisation and homework skills • Gain confidence before starting secondary school Course details 4 × 1-hour sessions Tuesdays: 11th, 18th & 25th August, and 1st September Small group (maximum 6 students) £99 for the complete course Held in Sunbury-on-Thames Suitable for students starting Year 7 in September Please note: A minimum of 3 students is required for the course to run. If minimum numbers are not met, you will be offered either a full refund or an alternative option.
